What the maison is
Three lengths, three languages
Care as a return, not an intervention.
Bithyné is an editorial maison rooted in the continuous plant culture of Anatolia — the geography that has carried rose, lavender, sage, calendula, and melissa in its beauty and healing tradition for three thousand years. The maison holds seven cultural layers (Hittite, Hellenistic Anatolian, Byzantine, Old Turkic, Seljuk, Ottoman, Modern Turkish), three languages (English, Turkish, German), and one principle: that beauty is not something to be promised, but something to be carried.
For now, the maison writes. It reads the old books, it walks the Anatolian fields in summer, it draws what it finds. The Journal, the Plants encyclopedia, the Heritage record — these are the ground.
